The Annual Town Census is mailed each January.  It is very important that this document be filled out and returned to this office as soon as possible.

The census data helps the school department project class size.  It is used to verify residency for people taking civil service exams.  It also assists our public safety departments while delivering critical services to you. 

Finally, many state and federal government agencies use this information in determining local aid funding for our schools, roads and our eligibility for important grants which effects our local tax rate. 

Needless to say, the more up to date our census data, the better it helps our community!
